LEARNING FUN IN ACTION IN KINDERGARTEN! Our Kindergarten students have been learning how to read and write recipes. Today, they put their learning into action by making Fairy Bread!โจ They carefully followed the steps to make the Fairy Bread and of course tasted their creations!๐ฅณ After enjoying their treat, they became authors - writing about how to make Fairy Bread in their own words. What a wonderful (and tasty) way to combine reading, writing and hands- on learning. ๐โ๏ธ๐

๐ผ๏ธ ELEMENTS OF ART ๐ซ Year 1 have been exploring the elements of art through Edvard Munchโs โThe Scream.โ They used lines and patterns to draw their background and chose hot colours that reflected the characterโs emotions. ๐ฑ They even pretended to be in the painting and added their photo to finish! Munch himself would scream if he could see how well theyโve done! ๐จ๐๏ธ

They spent time outside exploring ๐using their senses to notice what they could see, hear, feel and smell. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, reflect on what makes a place special and enjoy the beauty around us. ๐ณ๐๐โ
